Meet Pamela, working mom of 3

Pamela, talk to us about your family.
My husband and I have 3 children under the age of 5. Liam who is about to turn 5, Arthur who is 3 and our little princess Annie who is 10 months. casino siteleri

You are a working mother. How do you juggle family and career?

Going from 2 to 3 was a major game changer for us. At first it felt like we went from 2 to a dozen. It was hard.  Organizational skills became more important than ever. We learn as we go and get better at it every day.

What would be your best tips?
Creating and following a consistent plan day and night is the key. Getting the kids and yourself out the door in the morning is much easier when you follow a plan.
First, my husband and I get up before the kiddos. With 3 kids, peace and quiet is rare and that’s our time to have coffee in silence and prepare for the day.

Would you recommend to plan the night beforehand?
Definitely. It’s very stressful when you when you have to look for things at the very last minute. The night before I line up everything, clothes, bags, shoes, lunches and everything else needed for the day. I have a check list that I follow. I find that I also sleep better knowing that the ‘list’ is complete.

Words of encouragement for other moms?
Being a working mom can sometimes be difficult. Regardless of how many children you have. The first few years are rough but it gets easier. If you can-create a strong support system.
