Meet Kim, mama of a 3 year old son, Leo and soon to be welcoming her second child. 

Kim, how far along are you in your pregnancy?

I just entered my third trimester. Our little bundle of joy will join us just in time for the holidays. It will be a blessed gift for our family. Especially after the strange year that we are all experiencing.

How Is this pregnancy different from your first? 

The happiness and love that my first baby brought into my life was beyond measure. Preparing is as rewarding and special as the first time but a little different. Film

How so? 

In my first pregnancy we focused on all things baby. This time around we are working on helping our older child understand what to expect. We know it will be a major adjustment for him and want to make sure he feels included and ready to embrace his new role as big brother. 

What do you think will change the most?

I think handling two kids will be a bit overwhelming at first. At least that’s what some of my friends tell me!

One positive change that I think a second child will bring is an increased confidence. As a first time mom I lacked confidence in my abilities and knowledge. The things that seemed so difficult with my first child — breastfeeding, changing diapers, handling illness — will seem like second nature now.
